Review of Degrees, mins, and secs!

Review of Degrees, minutes, and seconds. I chose to do this lesson because it's pretty much the simplest of them all ^_^

In order to convert an answer to degrees minutes and seconds:

1. Take the number(s) after the decimal and multiply them by 60. (This will give you your minutes.)

2. In order to get your seconds, take the numbers after the decimal that you got in part 1 and multiply them by 60

3. If your answer for seconds gives you another decimal answer, just drop anything after the decimal point, it isn't needed

And there you have your degrees, minutes, and seconds answer ! Here are a few examples:

Ex.1: Convert 6.16 degrees to degrees minutes and seconds.

.16 * 60= 9.6
.6 * 60 = 36
6 degrees 9 minutes 36 seconds

Ex.2: Convert 17.95 to degrees, minutes, and seconds.

.96 * 60 = 57.6 minutes
.6 * 60 = 36 seconds.
17 degrees 57 minutes 36 seconds

Ex.3:Convert 200.151 to degrees, minutes, and seconds.
.151 * 60 = 9.06 minutes.
.06 * 60 = 3.6 seconds. (drop what's after the decimal)
200 degrees 9 minutes 3 seconds
