Degrees in Trig

Degrees is the way you write numbers with decimals in trig. The process is simple and is the way you must write a degree anytime it has a decimal.
Degrees can be broken down into minutes (') and seconds (").
1.To convert to minutes you take what is behind the decimal and mulitiply by 60.
2.To convert to seconds you take what is behind the deciaml in the new number and multiply by 60.
3.To convert a degree with minutes and seconds back to one with decimals you use the formula: __degrees+minuetes/60+seconds/3600.

EX 1. convert 24.63 to degrees with minutes and if needed seconds.
A .63*60=37.8 so 24 degrees 37' take whats after decimal and move it to be muliplied by 60 to get seconds.
B .8*60=48 so 24 degrees 37' 48"

EX 2. Convert 13.3 to degrees with minutes and if needed seconds.
A .3*60=18 there is no more deicmal so no more further work is needed. There are no seconds in this problem. so 13 degrees 18'

EX 3. Convert 20 degrees 12' and 13" to a degree with a decimal.
A use formula (__degrees+minutes/60+seconds/3600) so 20+12/60+13/3600
B solve 20.(.6+.0036) = 20.636
