Relationships Amoung Functions!

Steps(to be followed loosely):
~Algebra
~Identies
~Algebra- again
~Continue with steps 1-3

Pythagorean Identies:
~sin^2(theta)+cos^2(theta)=1
~1+tan^2(theta)=sec^2(theta)
~1+cot^2(theta)=csc^2(theta)
________________________________________________________
Ex.1: cos^2(theta)+1
cos^2(theta)+sin^2(theta)=1~so~ cos^2(theta)+1= -sin^2(theta)

Ex.2: (cos(theta)+1)(cos(theta)-1)
cos^2(theta)+cos(theta)-cos(theta)+1
*The cos(theta) and the -cos(theta) will cancel.
cos^2(theta)+1=-sin^2(theta)

Ex.3: (cot(theta)+1)(cot(theta)-1)
cot^2(theta)+cot(theta)-cot(theta)-1
*The cot(theta) and the -cot(theta) will cancel.
cot^2(theta)-1= -csc^2(theta)
